El Paso

 

Neon Desert Music Festival (NDMF)

Since 2010, NDMF has provided the region’s artistic community with an outlet to showcase their talents alongside the world’s biggest headliners. With multiple outdoor stages, regional artist displays and a diverse music lineup with acts from across the globe, NDMF is the region’s premier music festival. 

Chalk the Block (CTB)

Chalk the Block is one of El Paso’s favorite family-friendly events. As the largest free three-day public arts festival in the Southwest, CTB draws more than 40,000 people each year with interactive art installations, live performances, a sidewalk chalk art competition, art and food vendors, and more.

 

The Plaza Classic Film Festival

The Plaza Classic Film Festival began in 2008 and quickly became a smash hit among El Pasoans and out-of-towners alike. Now the world’s largest classic film festival, the Plaza Classic averages an attendance of 40,000 people a year and has brought in such legendary guests as Al Pacino, Debbie Reynolds, Sam Elliott, Tippi Hedren and more. The festival has also become a major showcase for regional filmmakers through its Local Flavor series, with $1,750 in cash prizes given to local filmmakers in the 2019 Local Flavor Awards.

Winterfest

El Paso’s favorite winter festivity takes place in the heart of downtown, and each year is bigger, brighter and cooler than the last. With ice skating, a parade, holiday movies at the Plaza Theatre and so much more, Winterfest is guaranteed fun for the whole family.

La Feria Juárez

La Feria Juárez has been a smash hit with families throughout the region for years. With games, rides, concerts, food stalls and beyond, this four-week-long party is something you’ll definitely want to experience.

Tecate Supremo

With a name like Tecate Supremo, how could you not check out this festival? Bands from all over the world come together at Juárez’s historic El Parque Chamizal every year. Join them and have a blast!

 

Festival Sin Fronteras

Festival Sin Fronteras celebrates the bicultural pride of our region with acts from Mexico, the U.S. and beyond. Bands like Stone Temple Pilots, Panteón Rococó and more have made an appearance. You should, too.

Festival Borderland

Billed as the largest independent festival in Ciudad Juárez, Festival Borderland brings some of Mexico’s top indie bands together for a day of fun in the desert sun.

La Viña Harvest Wine Festival

Each October, the oldest wine festival in New Mexico features food, entertainment and plenty of wine produced by New Mexico’s oldest winery.

Southern New Mexico State Fair & Rodeo

The Southern New Mexico State Fair features games, an auction, food, music, livestock shows and a rodeo all in a family-friendly environment.

 

White Sands Hot Air Balloon Invitational

An absolutely breathtaking collection of colorful balloons dot the sky over the otherworldly dunes of White Sands National Park. It takes place every September.

Hatch Chile Festival

Food, crafts, an auction, live music and the best chile in the world make the Hatch Chile festival something you won’t want to miss. Just a few miles North of Las Cruces.

Cincinnati Entertainment District

The Cincinnati Entertainment District is located just a few blocks East of The University of Texas at El Paso, and is a staple of the city’s nightlife scene. With its own stop on the El Paso Streetcar and numerous bars and restaurants in the area, you won’t have to go far to have a great night.

Downtown El Paso

From legendary dive bars to world-class Broadway shows and some of the most upscale restaurants in El Paso, downtown has a little something for everyone to enjoy — guaranteed.

 

Montecillo

In less than 10 years, this master-planned urban community on the west side of El Paso has become one of the city’s hippest nightlife hot spots. Bars. Restaurants. Alamo Drafthouse. Topgolf. Indoor skydiving. Need we say more?
