One region. Unlimited possibilities.

Welcome to El Paso, Juárez and Las Cruces – an intersection of possibilities and an unprecedented gateway for trade and innovation. Here, with a population of 2.5 million and a rich, authentic mix of Mexican and American traditions, we are collectively redefining the urban economic landscape.

Some of the largest, most successful companies in the world call our region home.

Live here

The list of reasons to live here grows every day. The cost of owning a home isn’t prohibitive. The schools are some of the best in the country. And escaping to the great outdoors is as easy as taking a 15-minute drive.

Work here

This is where world-class companies meet small-town business — where you have greater access to city leadership, and competition is healthy but not overwhelming.

Grow here

Situated on I-10 and I-25, with six international ports of entry as well as binational air and rail access, we’re fast becoming one of the most critical trade centers along the U.S.-México border.

A tech hub

With Technology HUB in Juárez and The Hub of Human Innovation in El Paso, we’re squarely at the front of the new tech revolution and well situated to become the next Silicon Valley.

Hidden gems

From natural wonders to historic monuments, our region is all about experiencing and embracing the diverse cultures that make up the communities we call home.

Regional stats

Our region is an ideal place to work, live and play. But don’t take our word for it — See the real numbers for yourself.

Location

Three cities. One region. One shared vision.

If you’re not familiar with where we’re located, you certainly should be. Our geo-strategic corridor has long been a gateway for trade and innovation. Connected by proximity, lifestyle, work ethic and boundless optimism, we are collectively redefining the urban economic landscape. Plus, our region’s demographics truly reflect where the general population is headed, making us the place for monumental strides in multiple industry sectors.

Amazon has made a home for itself in El Paso

Bigger isn’t always better, but in this case, Amazon establishing a distribution center in El Paso is a big deal. Adding to an already booming economic development ecosystem, Amazon demonstrates that hard work goes further here and life’s full of possibilities. Welcome Amazon, to a region that’s redefining its urban and economic landscape.

Grammy Award winner Zuill Bailey shares his talent and perspective on the region.

After arriving in El Paso in 2001, he saw sunsets he couldn’t fathom, and his eyes were finally opened to the big picture. Twenty years later, Zuill Bailey still calls the city his home. Listen to the full concert and conversation here.

Southwest flavor meets art deco style.

The newly renovated Plaza Hotel is the jewel in the crown of downtown El Paso, and it’s now open.
There was great anticipation as it’s been a long time coming, but the wait is over.

This is where affordable living meets a high quality of life.

With an average house cost of under $200,000, home ownership is very much a reality. This is where both your dollar and your desire to explore go further. And an outstanding climate yields virtually no weather interruptions.

Curious about education in our region? Let us school you.

Institutions like UTEP (University of Texas, El Paso) and the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine are leading the way for students in all concentrations, including engineering, health care and technology. Partnerships with corporate academies are making our talent pool even more formidable.

Ruidoso. Hueco Tanks. White Sands. Organ Mountains. You get the idea. It’s pretty out here.

If you’ve never lived in the Southwest, you probably don’t know what you’re missing. But if you’re from this neck of the woods, you know that few things are as beguiling as a desert sunset. And those, of course, happen every day. They’re just one of the many natural gifts that make our region unique, well-poised and ideal for comfortable, modern living.

Three sports teams in five years, but who’s counting?

There was a time when collegiate football games at the UTEP’s Sun Bowl were the main athletic attraction here in El Paso. They’re still a huge draw, which we love and always will, but we love sports so much, it was only a matter of time before we expanded our franchises to accommodate a greater need. Not one, but two major soccer clubs and a minor league baseball team provide seasons of entertainment. And there’s more on the way.

“If I were a tech company, where would I want to be?” Seems like a reasonable question to us.

Incubation. Acceleration. Technology innovation. It’s all happening here. With Technology HUB in Juárez and The Hub of Human Innovation in El Paso, as a region, we’re squarely at the front of the new tech revolution and well situated to become the next Silicon Valley. Both facilities draw huge crowds of makers, thinkers, designers and the intensely tech-minded each month for seminars, learning and design think technology. Don’t take it from us, see for yourself.

Bosch. ADP. Prudential. They’re already here. So when you arrive, you’ll be in good company.

Most people have no idea how many well-established brands and well-capitalized start-ups operate in our region. It’s a well-kept secret. Commercial, mixed-use and industrial real estate is affordable. The infrastructure is already in place. Traffic is low. The cost of living is a fraction of what it is in other major cities. In a nutshell, this is a great place to do business.

Beacon Hill Recording Studios produces Khalid’s first album, and ever since, the hits keep on coming.

Everybody loves an underdog story. This has got to be one of our favorites — small-town kid with a smooth voice and soulful style makes it big, taking home a Grammy, no less, his first time out. Gotta love it. But it doesn’t stop there. On the heels of Khalid’s success, there’s a long line of visual and performing artist talent working hard for their breakout moment and taking steps toward building that star-studded future.

Juárez maquiladoras quickly pivot during COVID-19 pandemic to begin manufacturing medical devices.

When people think supply chain management, they often think of China. But suddenly, that may be changing. The recent COVID-19 pandemic has businesses large and small rethinking a lot of things, and during this reevaluation period, Juárez — in part due to its strong, flexible, binational workforce and tremendous manufacturing prowess — has become an unlikely hero.

“The talent in our region is the greatest selling point.”
—Shawn Ollis, VP Operations, Prudential

“Hear what others have to say.”

The numbers speak for themselves.
